Victory in Illinois

Dear Readers,
If you live in Illinois, you can be proud of your state legislators, because they stood firm against an attempt to re-open the chamber of horrors known as the DeKalb horse slaughter plant!
This is one more win for the horses, but are you as surprised as I am that this war has so many small battles? I wish that Americans could vote, get a final decision, and move on.
