Opening the Gates
Dear Readers,
The mares from the Calico Mountains, have been safely freed into the company of other wild horses. They're no longer inmates 0832 and 0795, not Ghost Dancer and Sage. They're called by names I don't know and seeing their transformation made me prayerful.
I am thankful beyond words that this sanctuary exists, but two are too few to save.

Thank you so much for all you are doing to try to save our wild horses, Terri. It wonderful that Ghost Dancer and Sage are now free but like you said they are too few.
The sactuary is a place where I would love to work or volunteer someday. Praise God for people who care enough about his creatures to do something about the rest of those who are trying to exterminate them for 'civilization' and cattle grazing land. I honestly believe those people will have their rewards in heaven for caring for the mustangs (God commands man to regard the life of his beasts and The Lord put man in charge over all the animals).
best

Just think if everybody saved two horses. Hmmmmmmmmmm that would make a huge difference. Every little thing that anyone does can help save our horses. even if is just supporting the tiniest of rescues, or writing a letter, or simply spreading the news. Together we can make a difference. WAY TO GO TERRI on saving these two girls. lots of love palomino
