More Q & A
Q: Could you explain what is the difference between some of the horse colours.... like grey, fleabitten grey, dappled grey,, bay, chestnut, liver chestnut, sorrel, brown, roan, strawberry roan, blue roan, dun palomino, spotted, piebald, skewbald, cream, buckskin, and brindle? When I see pictures of horses that are bay or sorrel, to me they look like brown. And which are horse colours are going to be on WILD HORSE ISLAND's covers?
A: Here's a cool website to SHOW you the differences!
http://www.equusite.com/articles/basics/basicsColors.shtml .
On the first four WILD HORSE ISLAND covers you'll see a sorrel, a black, a rose roan, and then a cremello!
Q: Do you know of some places that I could find ways of training my horse the Native American way?
A: A good start would be any book by Gawani Ponyboy. I have most of his books and I've seen him work with horses and he's amazing.
Q: What's your favorite INSPIRING quotation, not counting Shakespeare?
I have lots of favorites, but two that jump to my mind that might pick you up when you're down, are these:
The first is from Maya Angelou:
"Love recognizes no barriers. It jumps hurdles, leaps fences, penetrates walls to arrive at its destination...full of hope."
I don't know the source of the second one. If you do, please let me know!
"In the end, everything will be all right. If it's not all right, it's not the end."
