Real Phantom update!
Dear Readers,
I talked with Dianne Nelson at the Wild Horse Sanctuary yesterday about the Phantom and she says he's doing fine. He's a bit thinner than before, but she attributes that to him constantly running off other stallions. In his old stomping grounds, there probably weren't as many, as close, and he must feel like he has to lay down the law.
Pride is turning into a silver roan -- very pretty -- and she can't decide which horse is really the lead mare. It looks to her either Baby (the cute pocket-pony roan) or the beautiful black Dann sister mare.
If not sooner, my fingers are crossed I'll get to see them all in February when I go over to Redding, California for a booksigning.
Happy trails,
Terri
