REDDING & RENO READERS + the real Phantom

Dear Readers,
First the PHANTOM news. I talked with Dianne Nelson at the Wild Horse Sanctuary yesterday and she said, yep, the stallion is totally living up to his name! She hasn't seen him for a month, and believes he's staking out his territory in the hills with his new band of mares. When the grass comes in at the beginning of Spring, she says he'll probably be back, maybe with a new bunch of foals. Wouldn't you love to be there for that?
Oh, and I probably told you, but the Sanctuary has decided to keep Pride (the Phantom's son)as a permanent member of the Sanctuary to carry on the Phantom's legacy for a long time to come.
Tomorrow I'll be signing books at the Redding, California Barnes & Noble from 1-3. I will bring along some goodies for readers who brave the snow and I'm pretty sure the Phantom PhanClub will be there, too.
Sunday I'll be in Reno, Nevada, doing a BENEFIT to feed the Hidden Valley herd of wild horses during the winter. I'll be at the Artists Co-Op on Mill Street from 11 - 2, and not only will I be donating my profits to the wild horses, a bunch of talented artists will be doing the same!
Keep cozy,
Terri
