Dear Readers,
Lots of you are going back to school next week, but you've asked me to keep you up-to-date on horse slaughter news.
ON September 7th, the House of Representatives will Vote on H. R. 503 - TO END HORSE SLAUGHTER.
You can help right now.
1. First, email or call your congressman office and simply say
"
I'd like my congressman to vote YES on H.R. 503."
Saying 11 words is simple for you, but horses can't speak for themselves.
This bill protects ALL HORSES -- not just wild ones -- from slaughter.
You can locate your representative by clicking on the following site.
www.congress.org or call the Capitol Switchboard - 202-224-3121 & ask for your Representative
2. A poll from a talk radio station aimed at farmers is taking votes on the anti-slaughter bill.
Please take the time to vote "yes" in the poll. Just click on this site and go down to the polling question on the right. Today (Friday)is the last day to vote.
Then check the site on to see how the vote came out.

Thanking you for caring,
Terri
