Shopping for a saddle-trained mustang?
Okay, I know most of you can't be at the Warm Springs Correctional Center (WSCC), in Carson City, Nevada -- yep, where the Phantom was first corraled -- on Saturday. If you could, though, you could bid on wild horses ranging in age from three to six years, saddle-trained for 120 days Beginning bid on all horses are only $150!
If you'd like to window-shop for a friend for life, check out the a catalog of BLM wild horses and Nevada state "estray" horses at
http://www.blm.gov/style/medialib/blm/nv/field_offices/carson_city_field/wild_horses_and_burros.Par.87424.File.dat/Warm%20Springs%20Saddle%20Horse%20Catalog%20February%2010%202007.pdfCowboy & Blake are my favorites...Mugsy's cute, too, and ...yes, of course, they're all wonderful! What do you think, should I write about the prison's wild horse training program someday?
Have fun,
Terri
